Trim Levels (Exterior)

The 2022 Nissan Kicks comes in three trim levels. All three include one compact spare tire mounted inside under the cargo hold, fully galvanized steel panels, LED brake lights, liftgate rear cargo access, and light tinted glass. The designs all feature a black grille with chrome accents, black side window trim, and a body-colored rear bumper with a black rub strip and fascia accent. They also all share the same dimensions of 169.1 inches in length and 63.3 inches in height. The S level is the cheapest option, and includes four exterior color options, white, blue, black, and gray. All four S level color options feature black door handles, a black grille with chrome accents, and black power heated side mirrors. The SR and SV levels both offer 12 exterior color options, including various shades of white, gray, red, and blue. The SR levels include dark chrome grilles, body-colored door handles, and black power heated side mirrors. Finally, the SV level features a black grille with chrome accents, body-colored door handles, and body-colored power heated side mirrors.

Engine (Power)

The vehicle features a 122.0 horsepower four-cylinder engine with continuously variable automatic transmission. For average city driving, the power you get from this engine is satisfactory. You may notice a slight lack of power when attempting high-speed maneuvers, like passing another car on the highway. For most individuals, the engine power will be adequate, if not impressive.

Performance

The Kicks features top-notch suspension and smooth gear shifting capabilities, which can make it a good smaller option for unusual terrain. It also has the standard Kicks front-wheel drive. The performance isn't perfect. The acceleration may take a moment to respond and some drivers might note a lack of steering feedback. While responsive, the breaks offer a slightly unnatural pedal feel. The Kicks makes up it for excellent fuel efficiency. The small size also makes the Nissan Kicks easy to maneuver and park.

Interior

As with engine power, the Nissan Kicks design may value other elements above interior design. Some critics have suggested that the car may benefit from more comfortable seats. It does, however, impress with the amount of space such a small vehicle is able to provide for passengers and luggage. It also includes a seven-inch touch screen, stereo speakers, Bluetooth capabilities, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and three USB ports.

Safety Features

This car performed adequately in crash safety tests. It features driver assistance features like a backup camera, rear parking sensors, forward collision and rear collision warning systems and blind spot sensors. Other safety features include automatic high-beams, an automatic emergency breaking system, pedestrian detection, and a warning system to alert the driver when they have drifted out of their lane. You can also choose to initiate features like adaptive cruise control, driver attention monitoring, parking cameras, and door alert.
