Heath, OH is one of the state’s top cities and an excellent place to unwind and relax in one of the urban greenspaces dotted throughout the city. These parks offer you a chance to take a breather, play on the playground with your kids, or hop on your bike for a fun ride through the Ohio wilderness. 1. Hoback 

Hoback, 42 Dorsey Mill Road E., is a lovely place to recharge your batteries because there are a lot of places to walk, relax, and sit in the shade. Hoback is very green and vast, with plenty of tree-lined paths to explore, sports fields and courts, and a playground suitable for children of all ages. If you want to do a little bit of hiking, Hoback Park is the spot. It spans 20.5 acres of land, and you can reach the South Fork Licking River from a few of its trails.  

2. Horns Hill

Visit Horns Hill at 1558 Horns Hill Road for some excellent mountain biking and incredible views. This is one of the top spots in the state to break out your outdoor bike, and it features many steep but fun trails. If you love biking and want to connect with the Heath cycling community, head to Horns Hill and take your bike for a spin. Plus, you’ll find a network of trails that let you explore other parts of the Ohioan woods.

3. The Great Circle Earthworks at Moundbuilders 

The Great Circle Earthworks at Moundbuilders at 455 Hebron Road is a lovely little park with a small shelter, some walking trails, and the historic circle mound and earthworks themselves. There’s also a nearby museum where you can learn about the history of the site. There are opportunities for both guided and self-guided tours at this impressive Heath greenspace.

4. John Geller 

Visit John Geller at 580 Cynthia Street for some of the town’s best playgrounds, a volleyball court, and plenty of fields for baseball or soccer. It’s a great family-friendly destination right in the middle of Health, and there’s plenty of parking nearby. If you’re craving a little bit of green space but you don’t want to go too far outside of the city, John Geller is an excellent bet. Plus, since it’s centrally located, you can always grab a bite to eat afterward.
