The Nissan Titan has a 5.6-liter DOHC V8 engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which allows it to tow up to 9,290 pounds and has a payload capacity of 1,600 pounds. It is equipped with ABS with electronic brake force distribution, which detects how much weight is being supported by each wheel and can change the amount of braking power sent to each wheel on an instant-to-instant basis.

The Titan has powerful safety features, including the Nissan Airbag System for the driver and front passenger and roof-mounted airbags for the front and rear passengers. It also has an energy-absorbing steering column and steel side-door guard beams. The tire pressure monitoring system has an easy-fill tire alert that honks when the correct pressure is reached.
