Four Favorite Sandwich Places Near Heath, OH

If you’re ready for a sandwich, we have some suggestions of good sandwich places in Heath, OH for you to try. We think you’ll enjoy at least one of these, so hop in your Nissan Rogue and head to one of these spots when you want a break from homemade sandwiches or run-of-the-mill fast food.

Franks & Sammies

This place has good food, a great atmosphere, and a wonderful selection of draft beer and other goodies to go with your sandwich. If you do enjoy one of their brews, however, please do so in moderation and never drink and drive.  

Be sure to try their slaw with whatever you get, as it’s perfectly made. Their mac and cheese is great, their sausages are spectacular, and the Cuban is not something you’ll soon forget. Their chili cheese dog is one of the best you’ll ever enjoy. This place is open from 11AM until 6:30PM, Tuesday through Saturday. You’ll find them at 34 S 3rd St in Newark.

Skorpios Gyros

Want something a little different? Head over to Skorpios, which you’ll find at 56 W Main St in Newark. They are open from 10AM until 9PM every day but Sunday. You can get great sides here, too. Try their fried zucchini or pickles, the cauliflower, or the onion petals! You might also try a great Greek salad to go with your sandwich.

And for sandwiches, try their traditional gyros in lamb, beef, chicken, or falafel. You get thinly sliced meat covered in gyro sauce, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce, all wrapped up in delicious pita bread. Get it with extra meat or with feta, cheddar, or mozzarella. You can also order it traditional or get it Cajun, teriyaki, or BBQ.

Trek Brewing Company

Trek Brewing lives at 1486 Granville, Rd in Newark. They open at 11AM on the weekends and at 4PM Wed-Fri. On Wed and Thurs, they close at 8:15PM. On Fri and Sat, they close at 9:15PM. On Sunday, they close at 7:15PM. Yeah, this is a brewery, but you won’t get a better sandwich anywhere in town. Call them or visit them online to get your food.

Try their regular chicken sandwich, with comes with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Or, get it western with BBQ sauce and bacon. They also have an amazing pulled chicken in BBQ sauce, sliders, and a huge selection of burgers. When you grab a handheld meal here, you should also get some fried cauliflower or fried pretzel bites to go with it.

Mick’s Soft Serve and Sandwiches

Mick’s is at 1872 Cherry Valley Rd, and they open from noon until 8PM Mon-Fri and from 2PM until 8PM on Saturday and Sunday. They’ve got great food here (and great ice cream, too). Everything here is made from scratch with the finest of ingredients.

We recommend your try their great Reuben or the fish sandwich. The shredded chicken sandwich is really something special, too. Don’t forget a milkshake to wash it down.
