You’ll love getting together in your 2023 Nissan Kicks SV with its eight-inch color touchscreen and six-speaker sound system. You’ll have a leisurely and short drive on your way to your next adventure. Here are four of our favorite local places to enjoy family time.

1. Great Circle Museum

This is a fun place to spend an afternoon outside with the family, have a picnic, walk around, and explore. The outside area is open from dawn to dusk every day. There are a lot of interesting things to see inside the museum. The museum is open from April through October on Thursdays through Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Great Circle Museum is a National Historic Landmark and named an official prehistoric monument for the state of Ohio. There are signs around the park explaining why American Indians call the site sacred. The park and museum are located at 455 Hebron Road in Heath.

2. Little Arrows Play Cafe

This non-profit organization offers a place for parents and children to play together. The activities are intended for children in the age range of three to eight years old. Parents can enjoy a cup of coffee while they watch their children play or join in the activities.

Little Arrows is located at 29 W Church St in Newark, just four miles from downtown Heath. They are open from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday through Thursday. They are also open on Fridays from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. They have availability for private party rentals as well.

3. Heath City Water Park

The water park is a great place to bring the kids during the summer season. There is a fee to swim and enjoy the two giant water slides at this park. For Heath residents, a household pays $180 for the 2023 season. Non-residents pay $210 for a household season pass.

The water park is located at 1287 Hebron Road. They are open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

4. Hoback Park

There are quite a few parks in the area, but Hoback is one of the best places to bring the family with over 20 acres to explore. This park has five little league fields, a basketball court, a picnic area, and an excellent playground. There are hiking trails to be explored along the South Fork Licking River as well. This park is located at 42 Dorsey Mill Road E here in Heath.
